What is ChemYou and what does it do?
ChemYou is an AI-powered blood test analysis service. You upload your blood test PDF or image, and within 3 minutes you receive a personalised metabolism report and a 7-day meal plan based on your actual biomarker levels. ChemYou analyses 16+ markers including ferritin, vitamin D, B12, TSH, glucose, CRP, LDL, HDL, magnesium, and zinc. Access is currently free for early users while we improve the product.
How does AI analyse a blood test?
ChemYou uses a large language model (GPT-4) trained on nutritional science to read your uploaded blood test, extract biomarker values and reference ranges, and map each marker to the organ systems and metabolic processes it affects. The AI then generates a personalised nutrition plan targeting your specific deficiencies and imbalances — using foods available in your country.
Can I upload any blood test format?
Yes. ChemYou accepts PDF files and images (JPG, PNG) from any laboratory — private clinics, hospital labs, or at-home test kits. Any language, any country. As long as the document contains biomarker values and reference ranges, ChemYou can read it. No specific template is required.
What biomarkers does ChemYou analyse?
ChemYou analyses any markers present in your document, including: iron status (ferritin, haemoglobin, transferrin, serum iron), vitamins (D, B12, folate), thyroid hormones (TSH, T3, T4), metabolic markers (glucose, HbA1c, insulin), liver enzymes (ALT, AST, GGT), lipids (LDL, HDL, total cholesterol, triglycerides), kidney markers (creatinine, eGFR), electrolytes (magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium), and inflammation markers (CRP, ESR). The more markers your test includes, the more detailed the report.
What does the nutrition report include?
The report includes: (1) a metabolic score from 0–100 based on your marker profile, (2) a marker-by-marker explanation of what each result means for your energy, immunity, and metabolism, (3) a 7-day meal plan with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks using local foods from your country, (4) a recovery timeline showing when you can expect to feel improvements if you follow the plan, and (5) supplement considerations for severe deficiencies.
Which countries are the meal plans optimised for?
ChemYou generates country-specific meal plans for Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Austria, and Belgium. Each plan uses local supermarket staples, local dishes, and local meal rhythms — so a German plan uses rye bread and quark, while a Spanish plan uses legumes and olive oil. More countries are being added.
How is ChemYou different from talking to a doctor?
A doctor interprets results in the context of symptoms, history, and clinical diagnosis. ChemYou is a nutritional education tool — it translates your markers into a practical food plan so you understand what your results mean for your daily energy, focus, and diet. ChemYou never diagnoses or prescribes. If your results show significant abnormalities, we always recommend discussing with a healthcare professional.
How is ChemYou different from other nutrition apps?
Most nutrition apps require new testing kits, wearables, or subscriptions costing €200–€500+. ChemYou works with the blood test you already have — no new tests needed. During early access it is free, takes about 3 minutes, and is specifically designed to explain existing lab results and translate them into a practical food plan.
Is my blood test data stored after the report is generated?
No. Your uploaded file is processed in memory and discarded immediately after the report is generated. ChemYou does not store, sell, or share your blood test data. The service processes your document solely to generate your personalised report. This is fully GDPR-compliant. See the privacy policy for full details.
How long does it take to receive my report?
Most reports are ready in under 3 minutes. The analysis runs immediately after upload during early access. There is no manual review.
How much does ChemYou cost right now?
ChemYou is currently free for early users while payments are not live and we collect feedback. In the future, we may introduce paid analysis and guided follow-up, but early access users can test the service now without payment.
Does ChemYou replace medical advice?
No. ChemYou is an informational and educational service. The report explains what your blood markers may mean from a nutritional perspective and provides a personalised meal plan. It is not a medical diagnosis, does not replace a doctor's consultation, and should not be used to make clinical decisions. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.
